Prayer Shawls
Hand knit shawls for people in need of some warmth and prayer. If you like to knit. We are always looking for knitters to make these special shawls.

Music
Like to sing? We are always looking for more voices!
Play an instrument? Awesome! Bring it to choir/band practice on Saturdays! If you play the piano our music director is always looking for a backup so she can take some time off.
Cellar Thrift Store
Located in the basement, the store sells everything from clothing (men’s, women’s, kids) to housewares, toys and books. Proceeds go to several different charities in town as well as supporting our own ministry.
We are always in need of volunteers to keep this outreach Ministry running. If you are interested please contact The Cellar at 250-489-3961

United Church Women
AKA The Women’s Ministry Network (WMN) has long been thought of as the backbone of many United Churches across Canada. They are behind the scenes group in our church. They look after the kitchen, and Outreach projects such as running the Cellar, The Wednesday Morning Breakfast in collaboration with several other churches, collecting winter socks and hats for Street Angels, knitting and distributing prayer shawls, and providing the Church as a space for groups to meet. They also provide rides to our members that can no longer drive to church on Sunday.
Congregational Care
This is a group of special, caring people, that visit members in the hospital, Joseph Creek Care Village, and the F.W. Green Home. They provide prayer, or just that friendly face to sit and chat with.
“Blessing Basket”
Every day our efforts keep someone from going hungry. Every day we bear witness that the church cares for people. Now that we are coming back to the sanctuary for worship, plan to bring something for the blessing basket as you come. Non-perishable foods such as canned goods and dried fruit, pasta sauce, etc.
Please bring them to the church and know that we are being Jesus’ hands to those in need.
